Saint-Gobain Norton® T-100 Virgin Skived PTFE Film (0.002" thick)
Subcategory: Fluoropolymer; Thermoplastic; PTFE; Polymer
Material Notes: T-100/T-200 Features/Benefits: Outstanding heat and chemical resistance; High dielectric strength; Anti-stick properties; Can be chemically etched for bondability; Applications include laminate release sheets, wire and cable wrap, and industrial gasketing. PTFE = polytetrafluoroethylene
T-100 Skived Sheet and Film: PTFE sheet and film are manufactured from virgin PTFE resins which are molded, sintered, and skived to the appropriate thickness. Both sheet and film are widely used in a number of industries due to the material's outstanding characteristics, including heat and chemical resistance, dielectric strength, and anti-stick properties. Sheet and film may also be chemically etched on one or both sides for bondability.
Virgin Skived Sheet: T-100 is a skived, virgin grade PTFE sheet. It is available in thicknesses ranging from 0.0115" to 0.25", and in widths of 12", 24", 36", and 48". PTFE film is supplied in either sheet or continuous roll form. Slit widths are available in thicknesses ranging from 0.001" to 0.062" and to the exacting tolerances of the wire and cable, and electronics industries. Custom colors are also available.
Types of application include Chemical Process, Electrical/Electronics, Medical, and Protective/Decorative
Specification Notes: T-100 film meets the requirements of MIL-P-22241B, Type II, Grade A and other appropriate AMS and ASTM specifications. Information provided by Saint Gobain Performance Products.
