Saint-Gobain Furon® K271 One-sided Thermal Kapton® Tape
Subcategory: Adhesive; Tape; Thermoplastic
Material Notes: Description: A 1 mil thermally conductive Kapton® film, coated on one side with 1.5 mils of thermally-conductive acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, while the other side is coated with 2 mils of thermally-conductive silicone rubber. Recommended uses: For use in systems where electrical isolation is required and replacement or upgrade of components is common. Application advantages: Kapton provides excellent dielectric strength while minimizing thermal resistance; Excellent for use in small, compact environments where electrical conductivity of interface material can pose a threat; High peel strength adhesion to minimize air entrapment; One-sided adhesive system allows for easy rework. All data based on a 0.0045 inch test sample. Information provided by Saint Gobain Performance Products.
