Saint-Gobain Normount® V1300 White Polyurethane Foam Bonding Tape for Interior Use
Subcategory: Adhesive; Tape; Thermoplastic
Material Notes: Description: Normount® V1300 series bonding tapes combine a polyurethane foam substrate with a durable, pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive on both sides. The foam properties dissipate vibrations and distribute stress forces, while the adhesive maintains a long-term bond. The conformability of Normount V1300 series mounting tapes promotes maximum surface contact with less distorton, thus providing superior adhesive wet-out and bond.
Features/Benefits:- Acrylic adhesive provides durable bond
- Promotes maximum surface contact and adhesive "wet-out"
- Absorbs vibration
- Mitigates effects of temperature-induced expansion and contraction
- Helps prevent corrosion by eliminating contact between dissimilar materials
Typical Bonding Applications: Retail packaging, circuit board mounts, signs, security pads, component mounts, wire/cable mounts, appliance emblems, mirror mounting, wall displays, interior trim and ornamentation, tiles and panels, kick panels, panel stiffener attachment, glass lamination. All data based on a 0.03 inch test sample.(Available in multiple thicknesses.) Information provided by Saint Gobain Performance Products.
