Subcategory: Wood; Thermoplastic
Material Notes: Description: USPL's Composite products are composed of approximately 65% recycled wood/natural fiber and 35% recycled plastic, with selected process additives. The plastic raw material utilized in this product is recycled plastic. It is processed to a uniform feedstock, compounded with recovered fibers and extruded into a rigid board product. USPL Composite boards have many beneficial properties for decking applications, including:- Low moisture absorption
- No rotting, splitting or splintering
- Inherent termite and UV resistance
- Excellent dimensional stability and wet/dry traction
- No toxic compounds (CCA) to leach into soil or groundwater
- Workability and appearance of natural lumber products.
Applications: USPL Composite E-board 5/4x6 and 2x6 boards are designed for deck, porch, boardwalk, dock and similar applications. These boards may also be used for many lumber applications, where a non-load bearing member is required. This material is particularly well suited for outdoor uses due to its durability characteristics. Information provided by U.S. Plastic Lumber (USPL).
