Chevron Delo® 300 Motor Oil, SAE 30
Subcategory: Fluid
Key Words: CPS Number: 2224603; MSDS Number: 7005
Material Notes: Features:Chevron Delo 300 Motor Oils are high sulfated ash superior “Series 3-type” crankcase oils for four-stroke diesel engines requiring a high detergent crankcase oil They are manufactured using selected high viscosity index of base oils and detergent, ashless dispersant, wear control, antioxidant, corrosion inhibitor, and foam suppressant additives. Chevron Delo 300 Motor Oils prevent buildup of deposits throughout the engine and are especially effective in controlling deposit formation in the ring belt area and on piston skirts. Their high base number reserve minimizes engine corrosive wear by neutralizing the sulfur acids formed by the combustion of high sulfur-containing fuels. High levels of EP additives and corrosion inhibitors in the oils protect against bearing corrosion and scuffing of highly loaded parts. They were developed specifically for supercharged diesel engines operating under severe conditions and using high sulfur fuels. They provide superior oxidation performance. Applications: Chevron Delo 300 Motor Oils are recommended for all heavy duty and supercharged engines operated by truckers, contractors, and loggers, as well as in mines, in marine service, on farms, and in stationary installations where high detergent API CD oils are preferred. Chevron Delo 300 Motor Oils are specifically recommended for severe service conditions and high sulfur fuel usage. However, they utilize the latest technology to provide excellent performance in engines fueled by low sulfur diesel fuel or gasoline. They are widely used in mobile hydraulic systems and gear cases where the manufacturer recommends engine oils. Chevron Delo 300 Motor Oils meet: - API Service Categories: CF, CD, SJ, SH, SG
- manufacturers’ performance requirements: Chrysler MS 6395-G(SAE 30), and General Motors GM 6094-M
