Chevron RPM® Heavy Duty Motor Oil, SAE 10W
Subcategory: Fluid
Key Words: CPS Number: 225043; MSDS Number: 6931
Material Notes: Features: Chevron RPM Heavy Duty Motor Oils are premium quality, mixed fleet motor oils meeting the performance requirements of all four-stroke gasoline engines and all naturally aspirated, turbocharged, and supercharged diesel engines in all types of service. Chevron RPM Heavy Duty Motor Oils are priced for value with capabilities and performance that rival many of our competitor’s top tier products. These multipurpose engine oils are manufactured using selected high viscosity index base oils and additives that provide maximum protection against sludge, varnish, ash deposits, wear, oxidation, foam, corrosion, and rust. Chevron RPM Heavy Duty Motor oils SAE 15W-40 and 10W-30 are manufactured exclusively with Group II base oils. Chevron RPM Heavy Duty Motor Oils provide excellent control of sludge formation(typical of cold engine operation). They reduce deposit buildup resulting from high temperature engine operation, especially in the piston and ring area, combat varnish formation, and keep vital engine parts clean. They flow readily at low temperatures for easier cold starting and less wear. They also protect against corrosion and resist oxidation at high temperatures. Chevron RPM Heavy Duty Motor Oils utilize the latest technology to provide excellent performance in both new and older model engines, using normal, high or low sulfur diesel fuels. Applications: Chevron RPM Heavy Duty Motor Oils are recommended for four-stroke gasoline engines, and all two- and four-stroke naturally aspirated, turbocharged, and supercharged diesel engines in all types of service. They are ideal for mixed commercial fleets, farm machinery, construction equipment, marine and other off-highway applications. Chevron RPM Heavy Duty Motor Oils SAE 15W-40 and 30 can be used in powershift transmissions requiring Caterpillar TO 2 or Allison C4 fluids. Chevron RPM Heavy Duty Motor Oil SAE 15W-40 meets the ECF-1 specification for Caterpillar’s ACERT™ engine technology. API service categories - CI-4, CH-4, CG-4, CF-4 (SAE 15W-40, SAE 10W-30)
