Material Notes: FeaturesChevron Aero Engine Oils Uncompounded are a blend of high quality base oil, with small amounts of viscosity modifier for improved fluidity at cold temperatures, antioxidant, and antifoam agent. Chevron Aero Engine Oils Uncompounded do not contain ashless dispersant additives that retard the formation of sludge. Chevron Aero Engine Oils Uncompounded are designed for the lubrication of aircraft piston engines where a straight mineral oil is recommended. Applications Chevron Aero Engine Oils Uncompounded are the type of oil recommended by most engine manufacturers and engine rebuilders for use as a break-in oil for new,rebuilt or overhauled four-stroke cycle aircraft piston engines. Check with the engine manufacturer or overhaul facility for their specific recommendation. They fully meet the requirements of SAE J1966, which has replaced MIL-L-6082E as the standard for nondispersant oils.
