Material Notes: FeaturesChevron White Oils are technical grade oils processed from paraffinic oil. Mixtures of paraffinic and naphthenic hydrocarbons, they are virtually free of nitrogen, sulfur, oxygen, and aromatic compounds. They approach the quality requirements of food grade white oils. Applications Chevron White Oils are used in food packaging or handling applications such as: - process oils
- platicizers
- dust control oils or moisture barriers in aniumal feed manufacture
- lubricants on machinery of in food packaging such as foil
- rust preventative formulations for food handling
- defoamers
Chevron White Oils ar recommended for applications where discoloration, staining, or sludging in service must be minimized.In applications whre higher temperatures are encountered, such as heating baths or lubricants, greatly extended service life is usually noted when Chevron White Oils, in combination with an antioxidant, are substituted for ordinary mineral oils.
