Chevron Block Grease,
Subcategory: Fluid; Lubricant
Key Words: CPS Number: 253500; MSDS Number: 1184
Material Notes: FeaturesChevron Block Grease is a high melting point block grease. It is manufactured using highly refined base oils, a lithium thickener, and a special oxidation inhibitor which eliminates glazing and charring. It is fibrous-textured and dark brown in color Chevron Block Grease has good lubricant film retention and, thus, assures low starting torque and reduced friction during operation. Its uniform consistency and hardness throughout each block assures that the lubricant is fed evenly at a constant rate. Chevron Block Grease lubricates well in applications where operating temperatures up to 149°C are encountered. It is non corrosive to bronze bearings. Applications Chevron Block Grease is recommended for all bearings with open grease cellars, such as those on older kilns, rod and ball mills, laundry equipment, kiln cars, dehydrators, etc
