Chevron Wheel End Grease,
Subcategory: Fluid; Lubricant
Key Words: CPS Number: 250605; MSDS Number: 7894
Material Notes: FeaturesChevron Wheel End Grease is a high performance grease specifically engineered for trailer wheel-ends operating in most conditions. It is formulated with ISOSYN™ base stocks, a unique polyurea complex thickener that provides built-in extreme pressure performance, rust and oxidation inhibitors and a specially enhanced anti-oxidant package. It is green in color with a smooth texture. Applications Trailer Lubrication - Chevron Wheel End Grease is recommended for use in trailer axles. It will lubricate at temperatures as low as -40°C (-40°F) and continues to lubricate efficiently at temperatures up to 160°C (320°F). It provides many advantages in trailer axle lubrication : - Good low temperature properties (starting torque)
- Oxidation resistance at high temperatures
- Low incidence of seal leakages through use of a grease, as compared with the conventional SAE 80W 90 gear oil
- Excellent antiwear performance throughout the operating temperature range.
Industrial Lubrication - Chevron Wheel End Grease lubricates yearlong. Along with wide temperature range performance, Chevron Wheel End Grease provides excellent industrial equipment lubrication with a robust additive package that resists oxidation, protects against rust, enhances antiwear properties and ensures long lubricating life.
