Conoco Hydroclear® ATF Type F Automatic Transmission Fluid
Subcategory: Fluid
Material Notes: Description: Conoco Hydroclear ATF Type F Automatic Transmission Fluid is a high-static-friction fluid developed for Ford automatic transmissions manufactured during the 1960s and 1970s. (Newer Ford transmissions require MERCON® automatic transmission fluid.) The special frictional qualities of ATF Type F ensure proper shifting in Ford transmissions that require an ESW-M2C33-F fluid. It is also recommended for power steering systems in a wide variety of Ford vehicles. Hydroclear ATF Type F resists foaming to protect against rust, corrosion, wear and deposits. Its low viscosity suits it not only for Ford power-steering units, but also as a hydrostatic drive fluid for most farm tractors and combines. It is dyed red for easy identification.
