Conoco Conoflex® SRI Lubricant ISO Grade 32
Subcategory: Fluid
Material Notes: Description: Conoco Conoflex SRI Lubricant is an excellent wire rope lubricant and preservative for any metal product, particularly when protecting from saltwater. It lubricates and preserves the wire ropes commonly found in shovels, draglines, winches, boom trucks, cable cars and ski lifts. It is a departure from the black asphaltic lubricants that traditionally have been used in this equipment. It flows easily at temperatures as low as -20°F (-29°C) and continues to lubricate in situations where traditional asphaltic lubricants fail. Conoflex SRI Lubricant penetrates cables rapidly to prevent rust and corrosion. It protects equipment exposed to freshwater or saltwater, such as offshore drilling rigs, ship and dock equipment, refineries and industrial plants. Ideal for protecting new metal parts in storage and shipment. It is also an excellent preservative for stored parts, tools and other equipment. Information provided by ConocoPhillips.
