Conoco El Mar® 2000 Oil SAE Grade 40
Subcategory: Fluid
Material Notes: Description: Conoco El Mar® 2000 Oil is a high-quality, very low ash gas engine oil developed for naturally aspirated and moderately turbocharged, two- and four-cycle, low-to-medium speed gas engines, such as Ajax, Dresser-Clark, Cooper-Bessemer, Cooper Superior (formerly White-Superior), Waukesha, Transamerica Delaval, Dresser-Rand (formerly Ingersoll-Rand) Category I and II. El Mar 2000 Oil is formulated with high-viscosity index base oils blended with selected additives to provide low carbon-forming tendencies; good resistance to oxidation and nitration; and good deposit control for ports, pistons, spark plugs and combustion chamber. El Mar 2000 Oil is recommended for facilities where one lube oil tank feeds both two- and four-cycle engines. Remote engines operated intermittently or in cold weather benefit from the low temperature pumpability provided by the SAE 15W-40 viscosity grade. El Mar 2000 Oil is suitable for use in most industrial power plants fueled by dry, sweet natural gas. When wet or sour gas is used, contact a Product Engineer for the appropriate product recommendation. Information provided by ConocoPhillips.
