Texaco Aircraft Engine Oils 100
Subcategory: Fluid
Close Analogs: CPS Number: 220467; MSDS Number: 8622
Material Notes: Texaco Aircraft Engine Oils deliver value through:- Use of high quality straight mineral oil with low volatility
- Rigid quality control through production in an ISO 9002 certified facility
- Provide a stable viscosity grade over a wide temperature range
Texaco Aircraft Engine Oils are a blend of high quality base oil, with small amounts of viscosity modifier for improved fluidity at cold temperatures, antioxidant, and antifoam agent. Texaco Aircraft Engine Oils do not contain ashless dispersant additives that retard the formation of sludge. Texaco Aircraft Engine Oils are designed for the lubrication of aircraft piston engines where a straight mineral oil is recommended. Texaco Aircraft Engine Oils are the type of oils recommended by most engine manufacturers and engine rebuilders for use as a break-in oil for new, rebuilt or overhauled four-stroke cycle aircraft piston engines. Check with the engine manufacturer or overhaul facility for their specific recommendation. They fully meet the requirement of SAE J1966, which has replaced MIL-L-6082E as the standard of nondispersant oils. Typical test data are average values only. Minor variations which do not affect product performance are to be expected in normal manufacturing.
