This page allows you to search Lubricants in Common US Units. We also have a page that allows you to Search Lubricants in Metric Units.
MatWeb has more general property-based searches (Not restricted to lubricants) in Metric or Common US units.
This page was created to facilitate specialized searches for lubricants. The properties in the drop down boxes are important for the specification of lubricants,
but are often unimportant for the bulk of data sheets that MatWeb tracks. Over 1000 lubricant grades are available from this page - with base oils including polyalphaolefin (PAO), silicone, perfluoropolyether (PFPE), white mineral oil (WMO), and more. You may also search from gellant types such as organic soap, silica, or polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE). This page is set up for fluid lubricants (oils and greases); other search tools must be used for for solid lubricants such as graphite.
Instructions: First, select a specific lubricant category for the first drop down box, or use the default to search 'All' lubricants. Then select a
property from the drop-down list and enter the value(s) for the range. You may enter a minimum AND/OR a maximum value; one or both
values are fine. Select up to two more material properties and set the ranges. Choose whether you want the resulting materials
to match at least one or all of the material properties. Then click the 'Find' button. Click a material from the results
list to see the full datasheet. For more detailed instructions and examples, click
here.
Notes:
- Scientific notation may be used in the Min. and Max. range boxes (e. g. 1.04E-16).
- Text searches can be initiated from any page - use the Quick Search in the bar at the top right.
